On February 21, from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm, Marbles Kids Museum is throwing open its doors to the 21+ crowd for human foosball, a barcade, arts & crafts, wine tasting, and giant yard games. Drinks? Obviously. Burritos? Yes, and from Moe’s. Tickets are just $15 in advance ($18 at the door), and it all supports a great cause.

Today’s hidden gem:

One thing I would endorse, though I would hardly call it hidden, is Lake Pine in Apex. It's a great scenic place to walk or jog or dogwalk with a paved path of exactly 2 miles length around the lake. Lots of ducks and swans, with their babies in the spring. I see heron at least half the times I go. Maybe not a selling point for most, but my stepson loves looking for snakes there in the spring. Beautiful flowering trees at the right time of year too.
