Boozy cupcakes in Raleigh? Yes, please.

If you're looking for a unique treat, this is it.

We love to highlight people in the community doing innovative things. And, right here in Raleigh, is Angel Louis who is baking up cupcakes infused with wine, yielding some winning combinations.

Boozie Baked began as a happy accident during the tough times of the pandemic. Angel, a dedicated home baker, found comfort in her kitchen while listening to her favorite music. One day, feeling creative, she decided to pour a glass of her favorite wine into a cake batter, blending her love for baking with her fondness for cocktails.

What started as a fun, spontaneous experiment quickly evolved into something much bigger—and just like that, Boozie Baked was born.

With the alcohol baked out, these treats are safe for everyone to enjoy (just check the ingredients if you have allergies)—but the fun doesn’t end there. For those looking for an extra punch, Boozie Baked offers cocktail shooters that complement each flavor. These shooters reintroduce the wine, adding a burst of flavor that elevates the indulgence to a whole new level.

Check out her site here or pick them up at Little Blue Bakehouse (2116-H New Bern Avenue, Raleigh, NC).
